Features and Benefits of Acid stain neutralizing powder – COUPCOLOR® ANP

Acetastein Acid Neutralizing Powder has an alkaline nature with a pH range of 10 to 12.

It appears as a fine crystalline solid in white or light gray.

The powder contains an inorganic basic salt combined with acetastein acid, which allows it to neutralize various acetastein-based acid dyes.

Its thermal behavior varies widely from approximately 210 to 1390 degrees Celsius depending on the type of base salt, purity and molarity of acetastein acid, environmental conditions, and other formulation components.

Sodium hydroxide is commonly used in production because of its strong neutralizing performance.

Applications of Acid stain neutralizing powder – COUPCOLOR® ANP

Neutralization of residual acetastein acid on concrete, cement, and plaster surfaces.

Reduction of stains left by spilled acetastein acid on surfaces such as carpets, clothing, and rugs.

Neutralization of acidic chemicals, particularly acetastein acid used in industrial product manufacturing.

Production and packaging of canned food, sauces, and neutralization of product acidity.

Uses and applications of Acid stain neutralizing powder – COUPCOLOR® ANP

Helps produce strong detergents and other neutralizing agents.

Cleans and removes contaminants from water surfaces and tanks.

Used in the manufacturing of plastics and petrochemical products.

Neutralizes acidity in industrial processes.

At times and projects where several different color codes of acid stains are used to paint cement and concrete surfaces. It is necessary to use a neutralizing solution before washing the surface with water. If the paints do not react with water before washing the surface and the excess is not neutralized . These paints can be displaced during washing, causing colors to interfere and create unwanted paint stains on the paint of other parts.

COUPCOLOR® ANP Neutralizer powder easily neutralizes and inactivates unreacted acid stain without causing any damage to cement and concrete surfaces. The use of a neutralizing solution and washing of cement and concrete surfaces painted with liquid paints for cement and acid stain concrete stabilizes the color of the surface and stabilizes the color shade of the painted surface.

It should be noted that the solution obtained from the neutralizing powder – COUPCOLOR® ANP – of acid stain dyes is completely safe and does not cause any damage to the skin.

What is ANP Acid Stain Neutralizer and how does it work?

ANP Acid Stain Neutralizer is a chemical compound used to neutralize and deactivate acid stains on surfaces such as concrete, cement, and brick. It helps prevent unwanted color changes, streaks, or spots and ensures stable and uniform coloration after applying acid stains.

To apply ANP safely, dissolve the recommended amount of powder in cold water (typically in a 1:10 or 1:20 ratio). Apply the solution using a low-pressure sprayer, roller, or other suitable tool. Always wear safety gloves, protective clothing, eye protection, and a chemical respirator. Ensure proper ventilation if working

ANP is widely used in concrete, cement, and masonry coloring projects. It is also applied in industries such as chemical manufacturing, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and cleaning. Its main function is to neutralize residual acid stains, prevent color bleeding, and maintain surface appearance.
