COUPSYL®TEOS 40

Ethyl Silicate 40 is a mixture of tetraethyl orthosilicate and ethyl polysilicate that serves as a fine silica source. Produced by Couple Shimi Sepahan, it can be used as a binder in investment casting molds and as a primer component in inorganic zinc-rich protective coatings. Belonging to the family of silane coupling agents, its related compounds include tetramethyl orthosilicate and tetraethyl orthosilicate. Before being used as a binder in shell molds or solid mold processes, the zinc silicate primer must be hydrolyzed. Koupl Shimi Sepahan also supplies special paints for concrete applications.
