Lithium concrete hardener COUPSYL®LS-HARDENER

COUPSYL® LS-HARDENER is a clear, lithium-based liquid that deeply penetrates concrete to react with calcium and magnesium salts, sealing pores and capillaries. It prevents the penetration of water, oil, steam, and gases, removes efflorescence, and increases the concrete’s density. As a result, treated surfaces gain higher abrasion resistance and much lower permeability.

Lithium concrete hardener COUPSYL®LS-HARDENER

Lithium silicate concrete hardener can be applied to the surface with a low-pressure pump (spraying pump) or a brush without the need for dilution. But depending on what concrete surface (concrete, stone, and brick) is applied and also what application it has, performing method can be a little different. Risks and Limitations of Lithium concrete hardener COUPSYL®LS-HARDENER

This substance is a colorless and odorless liquid. It causes moderate eye irritation,
moderate skin irritation, digestive system irritation and dust irritates the respiratory
system. Due to the high pH of this product, in case of leakage to surface water, it
will damage aquatic animals. If spilled, it will cause the surface to slip. It reacts
with acids, ammonium salts, reactive metals and some organic compounds.

What personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used when handling COUPSYL® LS-HARDENER?

When working with COUPSYL® LS-HARDENER, you should wear chemical safety goggles, protective clothing, chemical-resistant gloves, and rubber boots. These prevent irritation to the eyes and skin and protect against accidental splashes.

For eye contact, rinse the eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
For skin contact, wash the affected area with plenty of water and remove any contaminated clothing or shoes. Medical care may be needed if irritation persists.

This product should be stored in sealed plastic containers at 15–40°C, away from acids, reactive metals, and ammonium salts. It must not be stored in containers made of aluminum, copper, brass, zinc, or galvanized metal to avoid dangerous reactions.
